Existing investigations exhibited the effects of extended dryings in the herb on the yields, composition, oil quality, and hepatoprotective as well as anti-cancer biological activities in the hydrodistillation-obtained critical oils from the aerial components in the plant. The necessary oils’ yields, compositions, and biological activities Nav1.4 custom synthesis levels of your fresh and differently timed and room-temperature dried herbs differed drastically. The lowest yields with the vital oil have been obtained in the fresh herbs (FH, 631 mg, 0.16 ), whilst the highest yield was obtained from the two-week dried herbs (2WDH, 1102 mg, 0.28 ). A notable decrease in monoterpenes, with increment in the sesquiterpene constituents, was observed for the FH-based important oil as in comparison to each of the other batches with the important oils obtained from the differenttimed dried herbs. Furthermore, characteristic chemotypic constituents of sage, i.e., -pinene, camphene, -pinene, myrcene, 1, 8-cineole, -thujone, and camphor, have been present in substantially higher proportions in all of the dried herbs’ essential oils as compared to the FH-based vital oil. The in vivo hepatoprotective activity demonstrated considerable reductions within the levels of AST, ALT, and ALP, as well as a important increase inside the total protein (p 0.05) contents level, as compared to the acetaminophen (AAP) administered experimental group of rats. A important reduction (p 0.05) within the ALT level was demonstrated by the 4W
